Oct. 7, 2010: The Terminator becomes the governor

Philadelphia pitcher Roy Halliday had a ho-hum first-ever pitching performance against the Cincinatti Reds on Wednesday. He only tossed the second no-hitter in postseason history. And it was his second no-no of the 2010 season.

Oct. 7, 1871, a massive fire burns in Wisconsin. This fire and one in the upper penisula of Michigan were overshadowed by the Great Chicago fire.
