Increasing the speed limit on Illinois interstates has been fast tracked to the governor's office to sign or veto.


The senate voted to approve the bill, which will increase the speed limit from 65 mph to 70 mph.

Yes, this is more important than getting their asses in gear with the pension fiasco.

Instead, they give drivers an excuse to cruise at 80 mph or 85 mph.

Then again, if they allow more Illinois State Police troopers to patrol the roadways, it might help pay down the state's debt.
