Sept. 24, 2010: Let them in the school

Still getting over the sting of not being named a judge for "American Idol."

Sept. 24, 1789, the first Congress adopted 12 amendments to the Constitution and sent them to the states for ratification. The first 10 became the Bill of Rights.

Sept. 24, 1957, nine black teenagers, now known as the Little Rock Nine, challenged racial segregation by attending the all-white Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas.
